Workshop on Career Development

On March 3, 2024, University of Brahmanbaria Business Club and Computer Club jointly
organized a day-long workshop on “Using QuickBooks and Xero for Career Development” on
the university premises. In this program, students get practical knowledge about cloud
accounting software, how they create accounts and work with the software locally and
internationally, and how they get freelance accountant jobs in their future careers. After finishing
the workshop, students get a certificate. Also, the program was led by coderTrust, and the
keynote speaker was Mr. Md. Amir Hossain, Senior Accountant, HBL Group. The trainer was
Mr. Md. Hazarat Ali Nahid, who mentored the AMS Coder Trust. The program was started with
an opening speech by the honorable vice chancellor of the University of Brahmanbaria, Professor
Dr. Syed Samsuddin Ahmed, followed by a warm speech, and closed by the dean of the Faculty
of Business Administration, Professor Md. Kazi Mostafa Jalal. Special support by the business and computer faculty members.
