Md. Mominur Rahman is a Lecturer in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Brahmanbaria. He holds a B.Sc. (Engg.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Rajshahi, where he researched deep learning-based epileptic seizure detection using EEG signals.

His research interests include biomedical signal processing, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and brain-computer interfaces (BCI). His undergraduate thesis focused on developing a 1D-EEGNet model for automated seizure detection from raw EEG signals, achieving 99.83% classification accuracy and 95.35% cross-subject validation accuracy.

He has contributed to research publications presented at the Undergraduate Conference on Intelligent Computing and Systems (UCICS) 2025 and 2026, focusing on EEG-based seizure detection and artifact suppression. His technical expertise includes Python, C/C++, Java, machine learning frameworks, and deep learning tools, with practical experience in model development, experimentation, and Python-based applications.

Currently, he is engaged in teaching, student mentoring, academic advising, and departmental responsibilities at the University of Brahmanbaria. Alongside his academic career, he is passionate about advancing research in AI-driven healthcare, biomedical signal analysis, and intelligent computing systems, with a long-term goal of contributing to impactful research and pursuing advanced studies in computer science.
