On August 28, 2025 the students of the Department of Business Administration, University of Brahmanbaria, had the opportunity to participate in an industrial visit to the PRAN-RFL Group – Habiganj Industrial Park.
The purpose of the tour was to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world industrial operations, enabling students to gain practical exposure to large-scale business practices.
- Program Overview:
The journey began with a warm reception by PRAN-RFL officials. Students were welcomed with a PowerPoint briefing session, where the company shared its history, milestones, production capacity, and global market presence.
Following the session, students explored various production units of both PRAN Agro and RFL divisions, gaining valuable insights into modern manufacturing processes.

During the visit, students had the chance to observe multiple production lines, including:
- A) PRAN Agro Lines
- i) Instant Noodles
ii) Beverages
iii) Patata Biscuits - B) RFL Production Lines
- iv) Bicycles
v) Stationery
vi) Bathroom Fittings
vii) Melamine Products - C) PRAN Textile Unit:
These visits provided students with hands-on exposure to modern production systems, quality assurance mechanisms, packaging processes, and overall corporate management.
- Observations & Learning Outcomes
- Practical Learning: Students observed how large-scale industries function, from raw material processing to final packaging.
- Industrial Standards: The quality assurance practices of PRAN-RFL highlighted how Bangladeshi companies meet international standards.
- Industry-Academia Link: PRAN officials expressed interest in offering internship and job placement opportunities to BBA students of the University of Brahmanbaria, which created strong motivation among the participants.
- Knowledge Application: The visit encouraged students to connect theoretical lessons from business studies with practical industrial operations.
- Corporate Culture: Students experienced firsthand how teamwork, efficiency, and innovation are maintained in a large organization.
- Student Experience
Throughout the day, students showed great enthusiasm and curiosity. For many, it was the first time they had seen such a large industrial park in action. Witnessing Bangladeshi products being produced at a global standard left them inspired and proud. The interactive environment and guidance from PRAN officials further enhanced their learning.
- Acknowledgment
The tour was organized by Business Club Brahmanbaria and guided by Mrs. Alpona Akther, Lecturer (Convener – Industry Visit-2025), Faculty of Business Administration. The Dean, Head of the Department, several faculty members, and around 30 enthusiastic students joined the visit. The Department of Business Administration expresses sincere gratitude to PRAN-RFL Group for their hospitality, cooperation, and valuable time.
