Mostafizur Rahman

Mostafizur Rahman is a Lecturer in the Department of Library and Information Science at the University of Brahmanbaria and a published early-career researcher. Member, University of Brahmanbaria’s Cultural Club (December 2025 to Present)

Mostafizur Rahman is an active member of the University of Brahmanbaria Cultural Club, where he participates in organizing and supporting cultural and literary activities that promote creative expression, storytelling, and student engagement. Through his involvement, he contributes to fostering cultural awareness, collaboration, and inclusive participation within the university community while gaining practical experience in cultural coordination and event-based engagement.

UoB Website Coordinator and IEMS Editor (June 2025 to Present)

Mostafizur Rahman has been assigned responsibility for collecting, reviewing, and editing the necessary information and dynamic content for the University of Brahmanbaria’s website and Integrated Education Management System (IEMS). In this role, he ensures that all information is accurate, up to date, and professionally presented to effectively reflect the university’s academic and administrative activities. Through this responsibility, he contributes to strengthening the university’s digital presence and improving communication across its online platforms.

Member Secretary, Rover Scout Group (June 2025 to Present)

As the Member Secretary of the Rover Scout Group at the University of Brahmanbaria, Mostafizur Rahman is actively involved in organizing student leadership development programs, voluntary and community service activities, and social awareness initiatives. Through this role, he fosters teamwork, discipline, civic responsibility, and ethical values among students while supporting their participation in university- and national-level scouting and voluntary activities.

Internship in Dhaka University Library 2023

Mostafizur Rahman completed a library internship at the University of Dhaka Library, one of the oldest and most prominent academic libraries in Bangladesh. The internship was undertaken as part of the academic requirements for his Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) degree and provided him with valuable practical experience in academic library operations and services.

BANSDOC offers internship facilities to students of information science and library management. As part of the 41st Internship batch, He learned a lot about library Resource management, library automation, etc.
