Mst. Ferdowsi Akter Bonna is a sociologist and research professional with expertise in social research, quantitative data analysis, and development studies. She completed both her BSS and MSS in Sociology from Jagannath University, achieving outstanding academic results and receiving the Dean’s Award 2026. Her research interests include social media and consumer behavior, climate change, food security, sustainable development, youth, ICT, and media studies.
She has worked as a Research Coordinator at Bangladesh Social Science Research and Development, as well as a Research Assistant and Research Coordinator on several government-funded research projects under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Bangladesh. Her work includes studies on media, road safety, Rohingya adolescents, the ethical use of social media, and climate-induced displacement. She has also served as a facilitator for SPSS training programs at Jagannath University and has presented research papers at national and international conferences.
