Department of Sociology

Rohana Afroz is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at the University of Brahmanbaria. She completed her BSS (Honours) and MSS in Sociology from the University of Chittagong. Her academic interests include globalization, social change, comparative social structure, childhood development, and gender studies. She is actively engaged in teaching, research, and professional development, with conference presentations on autism awareness, social integration, and technology-driven social change. She is a recipient of the University of Chittagong Merit Scholarship and has been a Member of the British Sociological Association since 2022.
