Orientation on UNDP Skill Development Training Held at University of Brahmanbaria

An orientation session on “Skill Development Training for Students by UNDP Bangladesh” was held on October 23, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. in the University Auditorium of the University of Brahmanbaria. All registered students and focal faculties attended the program as per the university’s directive.

The session aimed to introduce the objectives, activities, and opportunities of the UNDP-supported training program designed to enhance students’ professional and practical skills.

Professor A.S.M. Shafiqullah, Registrar of the University of Brahmanbaria, delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of skill-based learning in the modern job market. He emphasized that such training programs help students become more competent and confident in facing real-world challenges.
Professor Kazi Md. Mostofa Jalal, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, also addressed the audience, underscoring the role of the UNDP initiative in developing employability and leadership qualities among students. He encouraged students to make the best use of this opportunity for their future growth.
The program was organized under the supervision of the university administration, following the notice issued by Farjana Binta Khan, Assistant Controller of Examinations and Assistant Director (Admission). The event concluded with a vote of thanks, marking an important step toward equipping students with essential professional skills for their careers ahead.
