Rover Scout Orientation Course Successfully Held in Brahmanbaria

Brahmanbaria, October 18, 2025 — A one-day Rover Scout Orientation Course was successfully held at the University of Brahmanbaria, organized by the Bangladesh Scouts, Brahmanbaria District Rover. The program aimed to promote leadership, discipline, and social responsibility among students through Rover Scouting activities.

The event was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Md. Toufiqul Islam, Trustee of the University of Brahmanbaria, who officially opened the orientation course. In his inaugural speech, he highlighted the vital role of Rover Scouting in building patriotic, skilled, and service-minded young citizens.
The program was conducted under the supervision of the Bangladesh Scouts Rover Region Office and the Brahmanbaria District Rover. Professor Md. Kamal Uddin Bhuiyan, Deputy National Commissioner (Training), Bangladesh Scouts Rover Region, served as the Chief Trainer, while Md. Mofizur Rahman (Assistant Leader Trainer), Md. Shafikul Islam (Leader Trainer), and Ali Ahad Ratan (Secretary, Brahmanbaria District Rover) acted as course staff and speakers.
The day-long training began at 9:00 AM and included students from various universities, colleges, madrashas, and technical institutes across the district. Participants received hands-on training in Rover Scout principles, organizational structure, and practical activities emphasizing teamwork and leadership.
The program concluded with closing remarks from the trainers and a group pledge by all participants, reaffirming their commitment to the ideals of Rover Scouting. Officials expressed optimism that such initiatives would inspire more students to join the movement and contribute positively to society and nation-building.
