UoB EEE Department Arranges Seminar on Solar Photovoltaic Systems for Sustainable Bangladesh
The Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the University of Brahmanbaria organized a seminar titled “Renewable Energy Based Solar Photovoltaic System: A Sustainable Solution to Mitigate Load Shedding in Bangladesh” on 18 May 2026 at the university auditorium.
The seminar highlighted the importance of renewable energy, modern solar photovoltaic systems, load management, and sustainable power solutions for Bangladesh. The event aimed to provide students with practical knowledge and connect theoretical engineering concepts with real-life industrial applications.
The keynote speaker of the seminar was IFTEKHAR HAIDER NUREN, Lecturer, Department of EEE, University of Brahmanbaria. A special speech was delivered by Nahid Hassan, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE.
The program was graced by the presence of Professor Dr. Syed Samsuddin Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor, University of Brahmanbaria, and Professor A. S. M. Shafiqullah, Registrar, University of Brahmanbaria. They emphasized the significance of renewable energy education and appreciated the initiative taken by the department.
Faculty members, students, and distinguished guests attended the seminar and actively participated in the interactive session, making the event insightful and successful.
